馃嚨馃嚤 Fort IV ("Chrzan贸w") to jeden z niewielu zachowanych pod wzgl臋dem architektonicznym obiekt贸w militarnych b臋d膮cych cz臋艣ci膮 pier艣cienia zewn臋trznego Twierdzy Warszawa. Zosta艂 zbudowany w latach 1883-1890. Mia艂 on za zadanie obron臋 szosy pozna艅skiej i linii kolejowej. Fort powsta艂 w formie dzie艂a pi臋ciobocznego z dwoma czo艂ami stykaj膮cymi si臋 pod k膮tem zbli偶onym do k膮ta 180 stopni. Jednowa艂owe umocnienie by艂o otoczone przez such膮 fos臋. Kompleks sk艂ada艂 si臋 z ceglanych koszar szyjowych, dw贸ch barkowych p贸艂kaponier i kaponiery czo艂owej do obrony fosy. Dodatkowo fort posiada艂 du偶膮 kaponier臋 w szyi fortu przeznaczon膮 do ostrza艂u mi臋dzyp贸l. Po 1909 r. w ramach likwidacji warszawskiej twierdzy zniszczono cz臋艣膰 zabudowa艅 fortu. We wrze艣niu 1939 r. 360. pu艂k piechoty walczy艂 na tym odcinku z Niemcami w ramach obrony Warszawy. Po II wojnie 艣wiatowej do 1994 r. mie艣ci艂y si臋 tutaj przetw贸rnia mi臋sna i magazyn techniczny PSS "Spo艂em". Nast臋pnie teren przej臋艂o Wojsko Polskie. Po 2001 r. teren dawnego fortu przeszed艂 w r臋ce prywatne, a w艂a艣ciciel zobowi膮za艂 si臋 do budowy osiedla, hotelu i centrum konferencyjnego. W 2006. wpisano obiekt do rejestru zabytk贸w, co skomplikowa艂o ambitne plany nadania drugiego 偶ycia temu miejscu. Jedynie w dawnej szyi fortu powsta艂o osiedle mieszkaniowe. Obecnie obiekt jest opuszczony.
馃嚞馃嚙 Fort IV ("Chrzan贸w") is one of the few architecturally preserved military structures that are part of the outer ring of the Warsaw Fortress. It was built in the years 1883-1890. Its task was to defend the Pozna艅 highway and the railway line. The fort was created in the form of a pentagonal work with two faces touching at an angle close to the angle of 180 degrees. The single-shaft fortification was surrounded by a dry moat. The complex consisted of brick neck barracks, two shoulder half caponiers and a front caponier to defend the moat. In addition, the fort had a large caponier in the neck of the fort, intended for firing between the fields. After 1909, as part of the liquidation of the Warsaw fortress, some of the fort's buildings were destroyed. In September 1939, the 360th Infantry Regiment fought in this section with the Germans as part of the defense of Warsaw. After World War II, until 1994, it housed a meat processing plant and a technical warehouse of PSS "Spo艂em". Then the area was taken over by the Polish Army. After 2001, the area of the former fort passed into private hands, and the owner undertook to build a housing estate, hotel and conference center. In 2006, the building was entered into the register of monuments, which complicated the ambitious plans to give this place a second life. A housing estate was built only in the former neck of the fort. Currently, the building is abandoned.
