"Willa Generalska" - dawne archiwum wytwórni amunicji nr 1

🇵🇱 "Willa Generalska" powstała w 1927 r. i była częścią kompleksu Warsztatów Amunicyjnych nr 1 "Pocisk" w Warszawie. Budynek prawdopodobnie projektował warszawski architekt Aleksander Sygietyński. Miejsce to, powstałe na planie litery H, jest modelowym przykładem obiektu reprezentującego popularny w latach 20. XX w. styl dworkowy nawiązujący do baroku i klasycyzmu. Pomimo, iż w tym budynku znajdowało się archiwum, to z racji reprezentacyjnego wyglądu szybko zyskał on wspomnianą nazwę "Willi Generalskiej". W październiku 1939 r., po kapitulacji Warszawy, dawne zabudowania fabryki amunicji przeszły w ręce niemieckie. Po II wojnie światowej zabudowania przeszły w ręce Wojska Polskiego. W okresie Polski Ludowej do lat 70. XX w. pełniły funkcje mieszkalne, a następnie ulokowano tu kantynę wojskową i zakład przetwórstwa mięsa. Obecnie obiekt jest wpisany do rejestru zabytków, co skutecznie zapobiegło rozważanym od 2019 r. planom rozbiórki. Jednak nie ma póki co pomysłu na zagospodarowanie terenu.

🇬🇧 "Willa Generalska" was established in 1927 and was part of the Ammunition Workshop No. 1 "Pocisk" complex in Warsaw. The building was probably designed by Aleksander Sygietyński, an architect from Warsaw. This place, built on the plan of the letter H, is a model example of an object representing the popular in the 1920s manor style referring to the baroque and classicism. Although there was an archive in this building, due to its representative appearance it quickly gained the aforementioned name of "Villa General". In October 1939, after the capitulation of Warsaw, the former buildings of the ammunition factory were handed over to the Germans. After World War II, the buildings passed into the hands of the Polish Army. During the period of the People's Republic of Poland until the 1970s, they served as residential buildings, and then a military canteen and a meat processing plant were located here. Currently, the building is entered in the register of monuments, which effectively prevented the plans for demolition considered from 2019. However, there is no idea for land development yet.
