Bizon na Szlaku i Urbexie: Zapomniany cmentarz ewangelicki w Górze Kalwarii

🇵🇱 Cmentarz ewangelicko-augsburski w Górze Kalwarii powstał w XIX wieku, o czym mogą świadczyć pochodzące z lat 90. najstarsze groby pochowanych tu osób. Tu chowano niemieckich i pruskich osadników, którzy z biegiem czasu się asymilowali z lokalną społecznością. Nekropolia powstała na planie prostokąta o wymiarach 150x100 m, bez wytyczonej alejki bądź ścieżki. Została ogrodzona otynkowanym murem o wysokości 1,2 m, z bramą wykonaną z metalowych prętów (z datą ogrodzenia cmentarza – 1925 rokiem). W 1944 r. wysiedlono mieszkańców wyznania ewangelickiego. Po II wojnie światowej zaczęła się stopniowa dewastacja cmentarza zwanego „niemieckim”, a w 1961 r. ostatecznie zlikwidowano parafię ewangelicko-augsburską. Na terenie są widoczne pozostałości z czasów II wojny światowej: niemiecki okop z 1944 r. oraz ślady po kulach na płocie. Obecnie obiekt jest wpisany do rejestru zabytków.

🇬🇧 Today we invite you to the first film devoted to abandoned and forgotten cemeteries in Mazovia. It will be dedicated to the Evangelical-Augsburg cemetery. It was built in the nineteenth century, as evidenced by the oldest graves of people buried here dating back to the 1990s. German and Prussian settlers were buried here, and over time they assimilated with the local community. The necropolis was built on a rectangular plan with dimensions of 150 x 100 m, with no alley or path marked out. It was fenced with a 1.2 m high plastered wall, with a gate made of metal rods (with the date of the cemetery fence - 1925). In 1944, the inhabitants of the Evangelical faith were displaced. After World War II, the gradual devastation of the so-called "German" cemetery began, and in 1961 the Evangelical-Augsburg parish was finally liquidated. There are visible remains from World War II: a German trench from 1944 and traces of bullets on the fence. Currently, the building is entered in the register of monuments.
